"In seismic analysis of NPP they usually use several schemes for every structure, with different free field excitations and/or different properties of foundation. Standards require to envelope resulting spectra (as to the resulting internal forces — to take maximal values). As structure itself is one and the same in all these variants, one can try to envelope not the final results but some intermediary results instead, in order to perform the time-consuming analysis of the detailed model only once. The author suggests the scheme of this kind and the sequence of test problems.
