Annotation:
The basic methods of assigning the earthquake effects are described. It is shown that the empirical estimations of seismic ground motion parameters without any assumptions, suppositions and pre-selected mathematical expressions have the highest accuracy. The methods of specific site spectra and the related synthetic accelerograms are described. The criteria of synthetic accelerogram fitness are presented.
