Sample Seismic Analysis of the Soil-Structure Interaction for the Two-Base Structure

The author continues the chain of publications about the extension of the previously proposed combined asymptotic method of seismic SSI analysis for the multiply-supported structures. In this paper the transfer functions from the free-field motion to the basements’ motions are obtained for the two-base structure in the frequency domain. The results are verified against the full analysis carried out by SASSI computer code. Simplified structure modeling the NPP Reactor Building with transportation portal is considered.
