Vladimir Ivanovich rimshin was born on August 04, 1957 in Smolensk. In 1976, he graduated from the Smolensk construction technical school. In 1984, he graduated with honors from the all-Union correspondence Institute of civil engineering (Moscow state Academy of public utilities and construction), after the merger of MGSU, specialty PGS.
Work experience: passed the production path, working as a carpenter, technician, engineer, chief engineer, General Director of the all-Union economic Association "Orbita-Soyuz", worked in Universities of the country as a teacher, head. Department, Dean of the faculty, Director of the Institute of research Institute of MGSU, currently a Professor (0.5 St.), head of the master's program of housing and communal services of NRU MGSU.
Participated in the design and construction of major housing and construction projects. In 2001, he was awarded the degree of doctor of technical Sciences, specialty "05.23.01", Professor since 2003, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of architecture and construction Sciences (2006).

Rimshin V. I. is the founder of the scientific school on the power resistance of building structures weakened by degradation effects (power and environmental components). He prepared one doctoral student and six post-graduate students who successfully defended themselves as a supervisor.
