Annotation:
The results of a retrospective analysis of seismic resistance of 9-storey block sections in Gyumri (Leninakan), exposed to the Spitak earthquake on 08.12.1988, are presented. The results of vibration testing of the experimental block section of the series 111 are used. The calculations of the seismic stability of the block section using the «pushover analysis» method, as well as the direct dynamic calculation of the model of complex elastic-plastic deformation of a mechanical system with two degrees of freedom were performed. The data of the macroseismic survey of the consequences of the 1988 Spitak earthquake are presented.
